The 2012 version of the Glastonbury Art Walk is scheduled to take place May 4th through May 29th in downtown Glastonbury. Local artists and Guild members will be juried into the show, which will place artwork in 25+ venues downtown.
The Art Walk is co-sponsored by the Glastonbury Town Center Initiative (TCI- represents businesses and organizations in Glastonbury) and the Glastonbury Art Guild.
Local high school art students will be invited to exhibit work in a juried exhibit and will install a sculpture on the Center Green (a.k.a. know as the Fountain Green).
An opening reception will be held and musical performances are often included in the festivities.
In the near future, a prospectus will be published and local artists and artist-members of the Guild will be invited to participate.
