The river paintings by John Harris capture the fleeting beauty of water reflections. The duality of what is seen and what is reflected makes his work particularly compelling.
John received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Connecticut State University and earned his Master of Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania with an emphasis on painting and printmaking. He is currently affiliated with the Silvermine Guild Art Center in New Canaan CT and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk CT.
