8th Annual Holiday Art Show and Sale. This popular event will feature original representational and abstract art at the Riverfront Community Center in Glastonbury on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 11 am to 5 pm both days. The diverse selection of styles and subject matter that will be on display offers something to fit all artistic tastes and budgets.
Once again, this show will feature a roster of up to 30 artists invited to participate in this two-day show. “The secret to the show’s success is the high quality of art work exhibited for sale,” says Glastonbury Arts new co-Presidents Carol Ahlschlager and Richard Hoff, “and show visitors will find artists who are eager to engage with an appreciative audience.” There will be tax-free shopping on both days, another great reason to browse and buy at the show.
The show takes place in an inviting setting at the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles Street, conveniently located off the highway with loads of free parking. Admission to the show is free although we welcome donations. Everything about the event is designed to make the show a ‘must’ on everyone’s early holiday shopping agenda. A portion of show proceeds benefit the education and community enrichment programs of Glastonbury Arts and are tax-deductible.
