We welcome you to join in!
Glastonbury Arts regularly offers instructional programs, exhibitions and shows, and a variety of classes. As a volunteer organization, we value everyone who lends a hand and there are many ways that your talents and love of art can help support the Glastonbury Arts’ programs and activities.
We encourage you to join a committee and share your time and skills. Are you worried about making a long-term commitment? Please don’t. Every committee has a variety of plans and all of them can accommodate the time you have available. There are activities that can be done independently from home or with a group to share the fun.
The School Committee identifies, arranges, and coordinates our year-round curriculum and schedule of classes and workshops for adults, teens and children.
The Got Art Committee develops and presents our year-round series of artist lectures and demonstrations.
The On The Green Committee develops, prepares for, and presents this two-day outdoor art festival that takes place in September of each year on Hubbard Green, corner of Main and Hubbards Streets in the heart of Glastonbury’s historic district. This event requires sub-committes that focus on the Member Tent Show & Sale, Eco-Art for Kids, marking up the green, and much more.
The Holiday Art Show and Sale is a jewel of a show presented each November at the Riverfront Community Center.
We are fortunate to have our own small art center on Hebron Avenue, but we always need help to maintain and improve our Building and Grounds: Spring Clean-up, Everything Goes Sale, and more.
In order to keep everyone up-to-date on what’s happening at Glastonbury Arts, we use a variety of internet tools, our website, eBlast newsletters, and Facebook.
Join with us and help make great things happen!
