For adults, drawing skills are taught at every level as are opportunities to work in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastels and mixed media. We welcome serious teens to join our adult classes. Special focus workshops for teens are also available in our curriculum. Art lessons for children focus on building skills and imagination, learning and having fun. Animals, colors and shapes, crafts and clay are all part of the ever-changing Children’s Art program.
We need you to help us celebrate the Art Guild’s 50th Anniversary!
In 2012, the Glastonbury Art Guild celebrates its 50th anniversary. A number of special events are being planned in anticipation of the celebration – to stimulate community interest in the arts, to make art accessible, and to enrich and engage individuals in the creation and appreciation of art.
The Art Guild welcomes volunteers to assist in the planning and execution of 50′th anniversary celebration events.
